Henry Kidd's Art
The
12th Virginia Infantry, Company B is proud to number among its members
the renowned artist, Henry Kidd. Henry has created artwork on a variety
of subjects, including a number of paintings depicting scenes from the
War Between the States (such as the one on the left). Prints and more
information are available from the
artist's site.
Henry also inaugurated the "Adopt-A-Station"
program, whose mission is to "provide every Fire and Police
Station in the city of New York and those in Virginia who responded
to the Pentagon with a framed 'America's Heroes' print. This print
honors the memory of the victims and is a tribute to the sacrifice
and bravery of those who gave their lives while trying to save others."
The print (shown below) was created by Henry Kidd.
